Lets get out and meet each other and make some new

I would also like to say welcome to our new
members. We all realize it
may be difficult venture out to your first event…
Let me assure you, you will be greeted with open arms
and made to feel welcome and comfortable by all. It
only gets easier after you make that first "big
step".
The following activities are
scheduled every month. We now have a new

Friday, 7:30-9pm Portland
Area HELP Group (support group meeting) meets
on the first Friday of each month at Good Samaritan
Hospital in NW Portland. Meeting is held in the Good
Samaritan Medical Building, 1040 NW 22nd, across the
street from the main entrance to the hospital. The
meeting is held in the 2nd floor conference room just
to the right of the elevator. You
can only enter the building from parking garage #2,
Level A on the South side of
Marshall St.
& the doors do get locked at
8pm
, just FYI for late comers.

SOCIAL GATHERING.
After
the meeting, there is always a
social gathering at McMenamins pub, 1716 NW 23rd,
Portland
,
97210 (NW 23rd and Thurman) not far from Good Sam
Hospital. Look for the yellow balloon to locate us. If
you do not see the balloon, please don’t be afraid
to ask. We are always seated in the big tables on the
right side of the room.
When
attending functions, please be sure to look for the
yellow balloon or yellow a table sign that says
"Portland Area Friends" on it.
