J
Please email Gloria at
ptldareafriends@aol.com
with all of the following information. I will then post it on our
website calendar page and I will send out reminders for you too.
What:
Date:
Time:
Location:
Please include the complete address
with zip code (for mapquest users)
I will not post personal addresses on
the web site, unless ok’d by you.
If you choose, you can have people
email for the address, if at your home, or you’d like to keep it
private.
Details:
Do a short write up abut the event, try
to generate some excitement.
Cost
involved if any:
What to bring/what will be provided:
for certain events, like potlucks,
picnics, camp trips, etc.
Yellow Balloon:
Let people know where it will be
located. As far as putting helium in the balloon a good suggestion for
that is any Safeway grocery store will do it for about 50 cents. In
certain situations it is better to use a helium balloon so people don’t
miss locating us.
RSVP’s:
Do you want RSVP’s or just have people
show up?
When doing dinner’s out we use the
Incognito name of “Stevens” for reservations, so be sure to put that in
your write up
Contact info:
name, cell ph#, home ph#, email
address, etc., it is suggested that if you have a cell phone to use that
number so if they can find the group at the time of the event, they can
call you.
Directions:
You can write out directions if you
want to, have people call for directions or tell people to use mapquest
from their location, mapquest is generally the best option.
If you sign up to host an event you
will be in charge of everything to do with the event. You will need to
have some form of contact info so people can reach you. However, if you
do not wish to have your email address published, please be advised, if
someone emails
ptldareafriends@aol.com for
more info on your event, those emails will be forwarded to you, for a
reply.
Thank you in advance for hosting and
wanting to be involved in our group!
I do appreciate the time and effort you
are putting forth!
Thank you, Gloria
